Peter Kelly is a leading psychologist, speaker and advisor who consults with organisations in the UK and internationally for mental health solutions in the workplace.
He established BEING REAL in 2022, after developing the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) management standards approach to tackle work related stress over 20 years ago. He was Senior Psychologist/ Specialist Inspector at The Health and Safety Executive from 1998 to 2022 giving practical advice on compliance with regulations for work related stress whilst developing the scientific evidence base for work related stress, psychological health and safety and mental health and wellbeing
He is a workplace and mental health authority and an advocate of mental health. He is best known for effective strategies and actions
Mary Ann Baynton

As a workplace relations specialist, Mary Ann supports employers, governments, organisations, unions, teams and associations that wish to resolve issues involving mental health, psychological safety, conflict or performance concerns.
Mary Ann has been called the “Godmother of Psychological Health and Safety”. She served as co-chair of the Technical Committee for the National Standard of Canada on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, was a member of the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s Workforce Advisory Committee, and a member of the Employment Standards Committee for the AODA.
Mary Ann is the author of several books in the field of workplace mental health including “The Evolution of Workplace Mental Health in Canada: Toward a standard for psychological health and safety”.

Carlo Caponecchia
Associate Professor
Associate Professor Carlo Caponecchia is an academic at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, and Associate Dean Equity Diversity and Inclusion in the Faculty of Science. He has a background in psychology and works in Human Factors and Safety across several domains. He has particular interest and expertise in psychosocial risks and safe systems of work. Carlo is part of the International Standards Organisation Technical Committee 283 responsible for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. He is the Past President of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment.
Jason van Schie

Jason van Schie is the Managing Director of People Diagnostix. Jason holds a Masters of Applied Psychology (Occupational) and has been working as a registered psychologist since 2005. He has a wealth of experience consulting to workplaces and schools locally and internationally in the areas of health, wellbeing and safety.
He is the lead contributor to FlourishDx – a leading psychological health and safety digital platform that makes integrated and risk based approach to workplace mental health accessible at scale. He is also the co-host of the Psych Health and Safety Podcast and course instructor on the 45003 Academy – both free resources to rapidly advance psychological health and safety understanding and practice.
