Kanae Dyas is a best practice leader and multiple award winner in innovative trauma informed and intersectional Psychosocial Management, Psychological Health and Safety including Respect @Work Programs in the global Resources, Manufacturing, Agriculture and Screen sector. Notably risk based Psychosocial Management, Psychological Injury and Suicide Prevention Programs, Gender and Cultural Safety, Occupational Health and Wellbeing Management. Kanae Dyas possess extensive global operational and governance experience spanning over 25 years with a strong commitment in developing contemporary psychologically healthy, safe and inclusive workplace programs.
Kanae Dyas provides expert regulatory and practical guidance to operational and executive leadership in H&S and HR strategies for effective psychosocial management and organisational culture including critical incident response to Bullying,Harassment, Gender and Cultural Safety to suicide intervention with Trauma Informed Care approaches. Her award winning programs are leading and widely recognised in industry. A member of advisory groups in MCA and QRC, an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Lead Investigator, Trainer and Assessor, including Mates in Mining ASIST Connector. An inspiring international speaker and advocate for Inclusion, Diversity, Mental Health and Wellbeing and a co-contributor to Screen Australia’s psychosocial framework and mental health programs.
Kanae’s award winning Psychosocial and Mental Health Programs and her work in I&D are showcased at QRC WIMARQ, Queensland Mining Awards,Women in Mining Summit, The Tahiti Women’s Forum, AREEA Awards, QMIHS Conference Awards, NSW HSEC Mining Awards and The Australian Psychological Injuries Congress to name a few. She led the The ACARP Mental Health Research Program across Rio Tinto Coal and developed the successful Mental Health Framework and the Achieve Health Wellbeing Program.
