Rowena Beale is an inspiring and purpose-driven Executive Leader and Chief People Officer with extensive experience in driving business transformation and promoting workplace wellbeing. With a proven track record across sectors including education, consumer, and professional services, Rowena excels at implementing innovative strategies that enhance mental health and employee engagement.

Most recently in her role as Director of People & Culture at Presbyterian Ladies’ College Melbourne (PLC), Rowena has been leading the journey to proactively adopt psychosocial safety; addressing psychosocial risks to international standards, creating a healthier and connected workforce through evidence-based practice, and enabling the College’s vision to form empowered women of character who change the world for good.

Before PLC, Rowena spent five years as Chief Organisational Capability Officer at Kangan Institute where she led the safety and wellbeing strategy; driving a safety culture that prioritised employee connection and supported mental and physical wellbeing. She was also the Managing Director and Founder of Calibre3 (providing strategy, leadership and workforce performance consulting services globally), Human Capital Director for Deloitte, and held senior leadership roles for Members Equity Bank, PMI Mortgage Insurance and Coles Myer Limited.
